The beauty of Lost Pond is reason enough to stop by. All through the warm months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Lost Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Lost Pond are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Fish River, and if you came for an overnight stay Libby's Sporting Camps is a wonderful place to camp.

| | The yearly rainfall here at Lost Pond is about average; throughout August this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is February. What a place this is for outdoors folks. A lovely lake like McClusky Lake close to Lost Pond is a great place to stop by, and the Webster Brook Tote Road offers hiking at its best.
