    The beauty of Lost Pond is reason enough to stop by. All through the warm months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Lost Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Lost Pond are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Fish River, and if you came for an overnight stay Libby's Sporting Camps is a wonderful place to camp.
 
   The yearly rainfall here at Lost Pond is about average; throughout August this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is February. What a place this is for outdoors folks. A lovely lake like McClusky Lake close to Lost Pond is a great place to stop by, and the Webster Brook Tote Road offers hiking at its best. Why not camp at Clover Hill Campground while you're here at Lost Pond, and you'll stumble on a pretty lake called Silver Lake.

               whitewater on Machias River for all you adrenaline junkies; if you need a place to stay Crown Park Inn is a good choice. If you're here at Lost Pond, you could have a look at Dunn Branch, and Lost Pond is right by the Island Pond Trail.
