    If you are in this part of Maine make sure to pay a visit to Lost Logan. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lost Logan; Bemis Stream Trail is a fine local trail. Lakes are pleasant; Perk Pond is a lake that's next to Lost Logan. This lake is so wonderful. There's perfect hiking along the Bemis Trail. The amount of rainfall that falls at Lost Logan is close to the national average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February  
   is when it's the driest.
High temperatures at Lost Logan during the warm months are in the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 20's; night lows at Lost Logan all through the wintertime typically dip into the-10's. If you came to camp North Camps is a fine site to do that, and striking scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Black Mountain. What would winter be without some
 
               skiing at Saddleback, and Burnham Hill is a peak you can observe from Lost Logan.
Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Kennebago River; next to Lost Logan you find a golf course called Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Good hiking is available along the Milrose Trail; not far from Lost Logan you'll come across Yorks Logan which is a stunning lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lost Logan that you need to camp here for a while, Black Brook Cove Campground is a good spot for that, and get soaked paddling on Dead River - South Branch.

A new Inntopia Central Reservation and Packaging System will allow Saddleback to book lodging, Ski & Stay and other packages at the lodges in the town of Rangeley as well as the condominiums at the mountain.
NEW RENTAL AND RETAIL SHOPS
Saddleback will now operate the rental and retail shops in the base lodge that were previously operated by a lessee. This season the rental shop will have a new fleet of rental skis, boards, boots, bindings and poles. The retail shop will have a new inventory of clothing and accessories.

I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises....

We stayed at South Arm campground and paddled the lake every day. One night we rented a wilderness site and tented from canoes. We also drove down the road and hiked out and back on the AT.
