The yearly rain here at Longley Pond is about average; during July this area sees the most rain while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Caucomgomoc Stream has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Big Spencer Mountain Trail. Take a little spree to Longley Brook since you're here at Longley Pond, and there is a great hiking trail       close by called the Carry Trail. At Longley Pond all through the days of summer highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Longley Pond. Going for a hike on the Telephone Trail is always a perfect adventure.
