There's so much to do here at Long Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Seboomook wilderness Campground is a tremendous location for that; dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Moosehead Lake. Good hiking is available along the Intake Trail, and whitewater paddling is good on Kennebec River - West Outlet. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Moose River, and if you need a location to stay Bingham Motor Inn is a delightful choice. Summer at

| | Long Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Long Pond fall into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. An average amount of rain falls at Long Pond; during July this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Long Pond | |

has to offer, you can camp at Caseys Spencer Bay Campground, and you're in all probability addicted to lakes, Moosehead Lake is one of those close by. You are in close proximity to Barrows Cove since you're here at Long Pond,
and needless to say, this is a good vicinity for people who like lakes, Round Pond is a lake in the neighborhood. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Don't leave Long Pond without first going for a hike along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail, and West Outlet Dam has delightful water scenery.
