Long Pond is a lake worth visiting. Cupsuptic River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by; a splendid close by hotel is Wilson Lake Inn. Kibby Stream is a scenic stream that is worth a visit, and Blakeslee Lake is a pleasant lake nearby. During the long summer days at Long Pond temperatures are usually in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's

Gotta ski! Sugarloaf USA is a great spot to do that, and do take a hike on the Sally Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Bigelow Range Trail offers hiking at its best, and camping is available at Black Arrow Lodge.

great globe it would be. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not check out King and Bartlett Lake near Long Pond, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Parlin Pond Stream. The amount
of rainfall that falls at Long Pond is close to the national average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.
The summit of Camera Hill can be made out from Long Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay King & Bartlett Lake Camp is a splendid place to camp.
