Maine has many beautiful lakes and Long Pond is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Axell's Scandinavian Inn is a good spot to get some rest. Long Pond is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Eaton Mountain has splendid slopes and a friendly staff; you can catch a sight of Blueberry Hill from Long Pond.
Summer brings highs in the 70's to Long Pond,

and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Long Pond. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Cobbossee Motel is a brilliant site to spend a night or two, and you can hit the slopes at Titcomb close at hand. Long Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Great Pond Campground is a pleasant local campground, and nearby you
discover the Appalachian National Scenic Trail which is a delightful hiking trail.
If you're here at Long Pond, you could visit Ingham Stream, and do schedule some time to stop by Pinewold Point if you have a chance. You'll meet a lot of folks from Augusta-Waterville here, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Sandy River. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Long Pond. A tremendous place to camp here at Long Pond is Five Seasons Campground, and there's whitewater on Cobbosseecontee Stream for all you adrenaline junkies.
