Maine has many beautiful lakes and Long Pond is one of them. Why not explore close by Denning Brook if you're here at Long Pond, and if you came to camp Smuggler's Den Campground is a nice place to do that. All the water falling down from the sky makes Long Pond a wet place; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; August is the month with the least moisture. Heights Vacation Rental is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Great Long Pond Trail, and get covered with water paddling on Union River. So many fun things to do here at Long Pond, too good to be true.
All through the warm months highs here at Long Pond get into the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Long Pond. If you're here at Long
Pond, do take a tour to Carter Cove, and don't leave Long Pond without first going for a hike along the Outer Beech Mountain Trail.
