Long Pond is always a pleasure to visit. A day at pretty Gilley Beach close to Long Pond is a great thing to do, and why not a little side tour to Jordan Stream. During the long summer days here at Long Pond, high temperatures typically reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. Be careful coming to Long Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. Bracy Cove is reasonably in the neighborhood of Long Pond. a splendid adventure, and The Harbour Cottage Inn is a fine site to get some rest. Acadia National Park is one of the destinations in the neighborhood of Long Pond that are great to go to; a good place like Amphitheater Valley here
at Long Pond is too good to miss.
There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Long Pond. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Long Pond has to offer, you can camp at Blackwoods Campground, and you'll discover
a gorgeous lake called Jordan Pond. Branch Lake Stream has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby, and an out of the ordinary thing to have a look at next to Long Pond is Water Company Dam. The Cleft is a perfect spot to check
out while in the region; there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Little Harbor Brook Trail.
If the weather is pretty, you acquire a good view of Barr Hill from Long Pond, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along
the Harbor Brook Trail. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Union River, and you can spend the day on the beach at Hunters Beach. All the water falling down from the sky makes
Long Pond a wet place; most of the rain falls all through November, and August is the month with the least moisture.
