Long Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The Harbor Brook Trail offers hiking at its best; if you want to hit the beach, Hunters Beach is in close proximity. Water Company Dam is not far at all from Long Pond, and a journey to Long Pond wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Birch Spring. And that's not all you can do here at Long Pond. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Little Harbor Brook Trail. Lakes? Sure, Seawall

Jordan Stream is a glorious place to take a look at, and the top of Barr Hill is easily seen from Long Pond. If you need a place to stay The Harbour Cottage Inn is a brilliant choice, and camping at Blackwoods Campground is always a nice experience. Bracy Cove is close to Long Pond and is a pleasant site to pop by; The Cleft is something you shouldn't miss since you're here.

place to spend some time at, and dry warm beds await you at Pier One Vacation Rentals. This lake is so wonderful. Gilley Beach is close to Long Pond if you're in a beach type of mood, and there's whitewater on Branch Lake Stream for
all you adrenaline people. All through the warm months at Long Pond highs are ordinarily in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and overnight
lows during the wintertime for Long Pond tend to be in the 10's.
You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area in the vicinity of Long Pond has to offer. Do set aside some time for Amphitheater Valley
while you're here at Long Pond; not far from Long Pond you'll discover Jordan Pond which is a charming lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are some nice whitewater spots on Union River, and camping is available at Camp Store.
A great deal of rain falls at Long Pond; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is August. A visit to Acadia National Park is worthwhile, and do take a hike on the Seaside Brook Trail.
