A visit to Long Pond is always a good idea. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Long Pond reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Long Pond are in the 10's. spirit with nice feelings. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Long Pond has to offer, you can camp at Smuggler's Den Campground.
An exciting thing to pop by right next door to Long Pond is Long Pond Dam, and there
is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Mansell Mountain Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Central House Inn; nearby you hit upon the Outer Beech Mountain Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. Just can't get enough of Long
Pond. You ought to absolutely go to Beach Cliff since you're here at Long Pond; the Great Long Pond Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.
Long Pond is a wet site that gets much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is
November while August is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Long Pond. A day at Echo Lake Beach in the neighborhood of Long Pond is time well spent, and some of
the water nearby flows, like Duck Pond Brook.
You're most likely hooked on lakes, Duck Pond is one of those close by, and Great Notch is a delightful place to spend some time.
