Many people like to go to Long Pond. Long Pond gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; through July this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Arnold Pond Trail; camping is available at Cathedral Pines Camping Area. Cupsuptic River is a magnificent whitewater spot near Long Pond, and Long Pond is right by the Arnold Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Long Pond is Dead River - North Branch. At Long Pond you can catch a glimpse of Bag Pond Mountain; Natanis Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to.

since you're here, and if you came for an overnight stay Black Arrow Lodge is a perfect location to camp. At Long Pond all through the summertime months highs are in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's.
All through the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 20's while Long Pond night low temperatures all through the winter are in the-10's. So many enjoyable things right next door to Long Pond, absolutely phenomenal. Clearwater Brook is in the vicinity of Long Pond and is always a pleasure to stop by, and a lake nearby is Round Pond.
