Long Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Long Pond gets a normal amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Sandy River. If you need a place to stay Saddleback Inn is a splendid choice; the slopes of Saddleback are so inviting nobody can resist.

| | get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Long Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School is a golf course right next door to Long Pond; what would winter be without some skiing at Black Mountain. Haley Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and the Chimney Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby.

about the White Mountains. Near Long Pond you discover the Brook Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Black Brook Cove Campground is a great place to camp. The White Mountains scenery is always
beautiful. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in the White Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Town & Lake Motel, and if you come at the right time of year, Dead River - South Branch offers some
great whitewater.
That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Long Pond has it all. There's some flowing water close by, Cascade Stream is a stream you can stop by while you're here; Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is
a good campground here. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Haley Pond Dam, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Piazza Rock Trail.
