It's always fun to stop by Long Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Dead River - South Branch, and the skiing at Saddleback is delightful. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining things to do in the White Mountains. The peak of Four Ponds Mountain can be made out from Long Pond, and if you came to camp Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a great location to

| | do that. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Black Brook in a kayak, and do take a hike on the Angel Falls Trail. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains. Maxie Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; The Perennial Inn is a great place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Long Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Black Brook Cove Campground is a glorious spot for | |

that, and Black Mountain is a tremendous local ski area. Just can't get enough of Long Pond. While you're here at Long Pond, you could also pop by pretty Round Pond, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Bemis Stream Trail.
At Long Pond during the months of summer highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's; nighttime lows through the winter for Long Pond tend to be in the-10's. Hiking
is a popular thing to do around Long Pond; Bemis Trail is a nice local trail; after a long day outdoors Grand Summit Resort Sunday River is a nice location to spend a night or two. Long Pond gets a common amount of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.

The bridge in New Sharon is by far the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that.
