Summertime highs at Long Pond generally tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Long Pond. And that's not all you can do here at Long Pond. You can run the rapids of Fish River near Long Pond, and       going for a hike on the Island Pond Trail is always a delightful adventure. Machias River is a wonderful whitewater spot near Long Pond, and you're probably keen on lakes, Fish River Lake is one of those close by. Long Pond is a good place of typical rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and February on the other hand is the driest. Go for a hike on the Fox Brook Trail; Fish River Falls is an inspiring location to stop at while here. This lake                  is so wonderful.
