You'll locate a picturesque lake called Yorks Logan near Long Logan, and hiking along the Milrose Trail is delightful fun. Summer at Long Logan arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Bemis Stream Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Long Logan is a magnificent spot to visit for more than one day, Black Brook Cove Campground is a magnificent spot to camp nearby.

 | 14 miles away 2 PHOTOS I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises.... |
