     You'll locate a picturesque lake called Yorks Logan near Long Logan, and hiking along the Milrose Trail is delightful fun. Summer at Long Logan arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Long Logan. From a precipitation point of view Long Logan is a rather normal location; through the month of August you get the  
   most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Bemis Trail, and a picturesque lake like Gile Logan is a fine place to stop at.
Long Logan beyond doubt is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. Float down the rapids of Kennebago River in a kayak; Chick Hill is simple to spot from Long Logan. Paddling on Dead River - South Branch is so much fun, and while you're here you can
 
               play some golf at Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Black Mountain is delightful.
A day on the slopes of Saddleback is just what you need, and you can stay the night at North Camps. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Bemis Stream Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Long Logan is a magnificent spot to visit for more than one day, Black Brook Cove Campground is a magnificent spot to camp nearby.

LARGEST ADVANCED SKIING COMPLEX IN THE EAST
The new chair provides easy access to what was already the largest self-contained advanced skiing complex in the East. The black diamond terrain is in a bowl that is separate from the rest of the ski area. Three advanced trails were added in the bowl this summer. The new lift services 12 Top-to-Bottom advanced skiing runs.
NOVICES & INTERMEDIATES CAN SKI FROM THE SUMMIT -- FOR THE FIRST TIME
The new quad chairlift also allows novice and intermediate skiers to ski from the summit for the first time. Novices can now enjoy the panoramic views and ski along the 4000 ft. ridge amongst rime-frosted conifers before descending to the base via the 3.1 mile America and Hudson Highway trails. Intermediates can ski Tri-Color and Green Weaver, a one mile loop, back to the Kennebago Chair.

I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises....
