If you are in this part of Maine make sure to pay a visit to Long Lake. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Long Lake. Long Lake is not the only location close by, George Brook Flowage is a close by lake; Long Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Long Lake Campground is a good site to camp nearby. A lake close by is Lewy Lake; if you
come at the right time of year, St. Croix River offers some splendid whitewater. All the water falling down from the sky makes Long Lake a wet location; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while June is generally the driest month.

 | Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) .
