Hit the beach if you want, Hold Shore is practically right here, and Long Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Big Lake Campground is a splendid local campground. After a long day outdoors Bellmard Motel & Tourist Home is a splendid location to spend a night or two; of course Huntley Brook flows through this area. For the period of the long summer days at       Long Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's, and the overnight is quite colder of course, generally in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are typically in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Long Lake. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Nothing beats kicking back at Campbell Shore, and if you need a site to stay Cloud 9 Motel is a nice choice. If you're here at Long Lake, do take a visit to Corliss Point, and whitewater                  paddling is magnificent on Grand Lake Stream. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Lewy Lake. There's so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Long Lake Campground is a fine place for that. A large amount of rainfall falls at Long Lake; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
