Stay the night at Long Lake Campground, and Roosevelt Campobello International Park is a magnificent place close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Grand Lake Stream is a pleasant whitewater spot close to Long Lake, and don’t forget to stop at The Basin if you're here at Long Lake. At Long Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it       sinks down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Long Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Long Lake is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with much rainfall; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and June is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Long Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big Lake Campground;                  you can spend the day on the beach at Campbell Shore. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Croix River; Corliss Point is nearby and always delightful to take a look at.
