Maine has many beautiful lakes and Long Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Birch Point Lodge Campgrounds is a glorious place for that, and not far from Long Lake you'll find Timoney Lake which is a picturesque lake. This lake is so wonderful. Long Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Bear Mountain Lodge is a good local campground, and Long Lake is right by

Summertime highs at Long Lake generally tend to be in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's while Long Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Long Lake. then, we recommend Mattawamkeag River - East Branch. Lakes are great; Spaulding Lake is a lake that's next to Long Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Pierce Tote Road.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Long Lake;
Kennedy Tote Road is a glorious local trail, and Shiretown Motor Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. Long Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls throughout July, and February is when it's the driest.
It's a fine idea to stop at Colbroth Brook, it's next to Long Lake; if you come at the right time of year, Mattawamkeag River - West Branch offers some fine whitewater.
