There's so much to do here at Long Bog that you need to camp here for a while, Moose River Campground is a splendid place for that, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Sally Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Sugarloaf USA nearby, and you're possibly into lakes, Loon Pond is one of those close by. | | the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's; overnight lows at Long Bog throughout the winter commonly descend into the-10's. Jacket Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of Parlin Pond Stream. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Long Bog has to offer, you can camp at Jackman Landing Campground.
Lakes are fine; Holeb Pond is a lake that's near Long Bog, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Alder Brook Trail. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Long Bog is peerless! East Inlet is a good place to stop by; if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail.
