     On a splendid day at Logan Ponds you can take a hike along the Sand Bank Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a tremendous choice. There are some great whitewater spots on Sandy Stream, and if the weather is wonderful, you get a great vista of Trout Mountain from Logan Ponds. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Millinocket Stream for all you adrenaline people, and Big Moose Campground is a great campground nearby. This  
   lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Twin Ponds. Lakes? Sure, Tea Pond is in close proximity.
I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Logan Ponds. Americas Best Value Heritage Motor Inn is a nice site to get some rest, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Dudley Trail. Spring Brook is near Logan Ponds and is always a bliss to take a look at; while you're here you can take
 
               a hike along the Chimney Pond Trail. Summertime highs at Logan Ponds commonly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Logan Ponds dipping down into the-10's during winter nights.
Logan Ponds is a tremendous spot to visit for more than one day, Roaring Brook Campground is a tremendous spot to camp nearby; you'll meet a lot of people from Bangor here. Logan Ponds is a good place of common rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
