Logan Ponds is always a pleasure to visit. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Logan Ponds, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's; night lows in the-10's for Logan Ponds. Trout Mountain is painless to spot from Logan Ponds, and the Sand Bank Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. If you need a place to stay Katahdin Inn is a great choice, and a fine location for whitewater paddling is Millinocket Stream.

| | You'll need more than a day to discover everything Logan Ponds has to offer, you can camp at Big Moose Campground, and get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Sandy Stream. The yearly rain here at Logan Ponds is about average; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to run into some cheerful folks from Bangor here. There's so much to do here at Logan Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Roaring Brook Campground is a great place for
that, and some of the water close by flows, like Spring Brook. But wait, there's more to do close to Logan Ponds. Near Logan Ponds you discover the Dudley Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and since you're here, you could also stop at stunning Lower Togue Pond.
