Camping at Wildwood Shores Campground is always a good experience, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Pleasant River - West Branch. Put some time aside to spend at Billings Falls if you're here at Lloyd Pond, and a nice nearby hotel is Pittsfield Motor Inn. Throughout the long summer days at Lloyd Pond highs are usually in the 70's. Once the sun is down       it sinks down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; overnight lows at Lloyd Pond through the winter commonly plunge into the-10's. Camping is available at Casey's Spencer Bay Campground. If you need a site to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a tremendous choice, and it's a nice idea to check out Bear Brook. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable things to do close to Lloyd Pond. There are great sites to look at along the Gulf Hagas                  Trail, and lakes are such calm spots, why not have a look at Little Lyford Ponds. There's splendid hiking along the Auburn Log Hauling Road, and Indian Mountain is painless to spot from Lloyd Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Ship Pond Stream; a day on the slopes of Big Squaw is just what you need. Lower Deadwater is a good lake in the vicinity of Lloyd Pond; don't leave Lloyd Pond without first going for a hike along the Number Four Mountain Trail.
