Saddleback is a very popular ski area close at hand, and do put some time aside to spend at Shadagee Falls since you're here at Little Viles Pond. For the period of the summer months highs here at Little Viles Pond get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and during the dark       hours in the wintertime at Little Viles Pond temperatures plunge to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Do take a look at Shallow Pond in close proximity to Little Viles Pond, it's a delightful lake, and why not head up to Sugarloaf USA and strap some skis to your feet. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Little Viles Pond has to offer, you can camp at Black Arrow Lodge, and there are magnificent spots to look at along the Bigelow Range Trail.                  There's whitewater on Dead River - North Branch for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and Chase Pond Mountain is a peak you can catch a sight of from Little Viles Pond.
