    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Little Tunk Pond. Black Mountain is pretty and can be made out from Little Tunk Pond, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Schoodic Head Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is splendid here at Little Tunk Pond, you can go for a hike along the The Anvil Trail, and on a wonderful day you can visit Schoodic Beach. Little Tunk Pond regularly gets a large amount of rain; November is when you get the  
   most rain here; August is when it's the driest.
Going for a hike along the Bar Island Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and a spree to Black Beach is always a wonderful idea. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent close by hotel is Main Stay Suites. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Little Tunk Pond has to offer, you can camp at Mountain View Campground. Little Tunk Pond truly is in the middle of a scenic outdoors
 
               paradise. Lakes are magnificent; Rainbow Pond is a lake that's right next door to Little Tunk Pond; you can run the rapids of Narraguagus River.
For the period of the warm months highs here at Little Tunk Pond get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Little Tunk Pond are in the 10's. A trip to Acadia National Park is recommended, and Little Tunk Pond is a nice place to camp, Mountainview Campground is a nice place.
