If the weather is splendid here at Little Tunk Pond, you can go for a hike along the The Anvil Trail, and on a wonderful day you can visit Schoodic Beach. Little Tunk Pond regularly gets a large amount of rain; November is when you get the       most rain here; August is when it's the driest. Going for a hike along the Bar Island Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and a spree to Black Beach is always a wonderful idea. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are magnificent; Rainbow Pond is a lake that's right next door to Little Tunk Pond; you can run the rapids of Narraguagus River. For the period of the warm months highs here at Little Tunk Pond get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Little Tunk Pond are in the 10's. A trip to Acadia National Park is recommended, and Little Tunk Pond is a nice place to camp, Mountainview Campground is a nice place.
