     Little Swift River Pond is a nice lake to visit. The Piazza Rock Trail offers hiking at its best, and this region is dominated by the Blue Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Chimney Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy River.

   has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the White Mountains. One of the governing features of the surroundings of Little Swift River Pond is Blue Mountains; a wonderful lake like Witham Pond is a pleasant place to go to. A normal amount of rain falls here at Little Swift River Pond; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February.

               Pond throughout the summer highs are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter for Little Swift River Pond tend to be in the-10's. Little Swift River Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. If you need a place to stay The Perennial Inn is a glorious choice, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not check out Swift River Pond.
This site, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. The slopes of Saddleback are so inviting noone can resist, and camping at Black Brook Cove Campground is always a great experience. And that's not all you can do here at Little Swift River Pond. Little Swift River Pond is right by the Brook Trail, and camping is available at Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground.

Today I finished a kayak trip from Strong, Maine and took out at Osoola Park in Norridgewock. It took a day and three quarters. The bridge in New Sharon is by far  the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that. Need to pay attention....
