Little Swift River Pond is a nice lake to visit. The Piazza Rock Trail offers hiking at its best, and this region is dominated by the Blue Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Chimney Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy River. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Black Mountain, and Dead River - South Branch

 | Today I finished a kayak trip from Strong, Maine and took out at Osoola Park in Norridgewock. It took a day and three quarters. The bridge in New Sharon is by far the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that. Need to pay attention.... |
