Take a little visit to Little Squaw Brook if you're here at Little Squaw Pond, and a delightful location for whitewater paddling is Piscataquis River - East Branch. High temperatures at Little Squaw Pond throughout the months of summer are in the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are       in the 20's with temperatures at Little Squaw Pond dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area near Little Squaw Pond has to offer. Lakes? Sure, Papoose Pond is in the neighborhood, and dry warm beds await you at Bingham Motor Inn. There's great hiking along the Number Four Mountain Trail, and there are other sites here than Little Squaw Pond, for example Big Squaw Pond. If you                  came to camp Casey's Spencer Bay Campground is a splendid site to do that, and the peak of Little Squaw Mountain can be seen from Little Squaw Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Little Squaw Pond without first going for a hike along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail. After a long day outdoors Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a good location to spend a night or two, and Piscataquis River - West Branch is a pleasant whitewater spot nearby. Little Squaw Pond is a good place of common rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
