A brilliant place to camp here at Little Squaw Pond is Northern Pride Lodge and Campground, and you can go for a hike on the Big Squaw Mountain Trail. Little Squaw Pond gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; most of the rain falls all through July; the driest month is February. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Little Squaw Pond reach the 70's.       When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Little Squaw Pond throughout the winter commonly fall into the-10's. Camping is available at Casey's Spencer Bay Campground; the peak of Little Squaw Mountain can be observed from Little Squaw Pond. Going for a hike on the Intake Trail is always a splendid adventure, and don't forget to take a pleasant little                  spree to Little Squaw Brook. Don't leave Little Squaw Pond without first going for a hike along the Number Four Mountain Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Moosehead Lake. If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great earth it would be. Glide down the rapids of Piscataquis River - West Branch in a kayak, and if you need a place to stay Bingham Motor Inn is a pleasant choice.
