This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Black Mountain is right next door to Little Saddleback Pond, and at Little Saddleback Pond you can spot Beech Hill. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the White Mountains, too glorious to be true. Dry warm beds await you at The Perennial Inn, and get wet paddling on Sandy River - South Branch. is near Little Saddleback Pond, and the Piazza Rock Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Little Saddleback Pond. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For
the period of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Little Saddleback Pond tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Chimney Trail is
always a tremendous adventure; camping is available at Dummer's Beach. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. Be careful coming to Little Saddleback Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. The snow is tremendous at Saddleback, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Brook Trail.

 | Today I finished a kayak trip from Strong, Maine and took out at Osoola Park in Norridgewock. It took a day and three quarters. The bridge in New Sharon is by far the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that.
