You're probably interested in lakes, Allen Pond is one of those close by. Little Sabattus Pond is a pretty wet place frequently with much rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation.       Time spent at Auburn Municipal Beach right next door to Little Sabattus Pond is always brilliant, and whitewater paddling is great on Nezinscot River. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Little Sabattus Pond. A great spot to camp here at Little Sabattus Pond is Allen Pond Campground, and going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Why not camp at Riverbend                  Campground if you're here at Little Sabattus Pond; a golf course nearby is Springbrook Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Lost Valley has delightful slopes and a friendly staff; dry warm beds await you at Maine Motel & Cabins.
