Little Round Pond gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest. This is a perfect neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Otter Pond is a lake close by, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Allagash Stream. Going for a hike along the Telephone Trail will let you absorb the natural       beauty of this area, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Ellis Brook. A journey to Little Round Pond wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Little Allagash Falls, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Chase Carry. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Big Squaw. All through the summer at Little Round Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's, and during summer nights                  temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Little Round Pond plunge into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.
