Go for a hike on the Eagle Lake Trail; you can stay the night at Mount Desert Campground. Little Round Pond gets lots of water; all through November this area sees the most rain; August is the month with the least moisture. Be careful coming to Little Round Pond, you might not ever wanna return home again. There's brilliant hiking along the Outer Beech Mountain Trail, and Clark Cove is nearby and always brilliant       to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. If you haven’t been to Acadia National Park, you ought to schedule some time for it since you're here; while you're here here do have a look at close by Lamoine Beach. You could also visit Long Pond since you're here at Little Round Pond; it's close by. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Isleview Motel, and don't forget to take a wonderful little trip to Duck Pond Brook. There's whitewater on                  Union River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. There's so much to do here at Little Round Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Mt Desert Narrows Camping Resort is a fine site for that. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Little Round Pond with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows all through the winter for Little Round Pond tend to be in the 10's. Good hiking is available along the Great Long Pond Trail; Sunnyside Motel & Cottages is a perfect site to get some rest. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Little Round Pond. A day at Echo Lake Beach next to Little Round Pond is time well spent, and Oak Hill can be distinguished from Little Round Pond.
