available at Two Rivers Campground, and the Intake Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by. Camping at Balsam woods Campground is always a pleasant experience; Little Woodman Bog is an attention-grabbing swamp in the vicinity
of Little Pond. During the summertime at Little Pond highs are mostly in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the
winter at Little Pond temperatures dip to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene places, why not take a look at Kingsbury Pond close to Little Pond, and Pittsfield Motor Inn is a fine spot to get some rest.

The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends. The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season.
