The beauty of Little Pond is reason enough to stop by. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Little Pond has to offer, you can camp at Moosehead Family Campground, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Intake Trail. Little Pond gets much water; the month with most of the rain is July, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.

This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Eaton Mountain is good; after a long day outdoors Canaan Motel is a great location to spend a night or two. The summit of Cowett Hill can be seen from Little Pond;
swamps can be such out of the ordinary sites, go to Little Woodman Bog since you're here at Little Pond. There's whitewater on Kingsbury Stream for all you adrenaline people, and the Big Squaw Mountain Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by.
