     Really great skiing awaits you at Eaton Mountain, and Foss Hill is clearly visible from Little Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Why not have a look at Birch Point also if you're here, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Wesserunsett Stream. Little Pond is a wet location that gets much precipitation; November is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.

   time here at Little Pond. Lakes? Sure, North Pond is in close proximity; why not a little side trip to Leech Brook. Don't leave Little Pond without first going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and a glorious place to camp here at Little Pond is Sunset Camps. There are other places here than Little Pond, for example East Pond, and if you need a spot to stay Hampton Inn Waterville/Augusta ME is a tremendous choice.
Summertime highs
 
               at Little Pond mostly tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Little Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandy River, and camping is available at Maine Roads Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Little Pond is not far at all from Augusta-Waterville, and dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Airport Inn Waterville.

Eaton Mountain provides affordable and convenient skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing to the greater Waterville/Skowhegan area. The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. Most of the area is covered with snowmaking and is lit for nightskiiing. Equipment rentals and lessons are available. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends.
The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season. The new owners will be taking the time to make improvements and prepare for a grand reopening in the fall of 2009. Immediate improvements are planned to include an all new snowtubing facility and widening of the Moose slope for a new terrain park.
The ski area is located on Lambert Road, just off Route 2 between Skowhegan and Canaan....

Breezy Acres Camps and Guide Service is located in both Solon and Eustis Maine. He have housekeeping cabins which are set up with full size stoves, refrigerators,microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The beds are made with linens and there are plenty of towels for the shower in the bathroom. Each cabin has its own picnic table, charcoal grill and outside fire pit. We can sleep up to 38 people.

You can access snowmobile and ATV trails right from the cabin for many miles of riding. Canoeing and kayaking on various lakes, ponds, streams and rivers are a great way to relax. Hunting, fishing, golf and white water rafting are some of the other activities that we offer.

We offer reasonable rates and great hospitality.
