Little Pond is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with a good deal of precipitation; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and August is when it's the driest. Dry warm beds await you at The Higgins Beach Inn, and lakes are such calm places, why not take a look at Richards Pond. At Little Pond throughout the long summer days highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it       plunges down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's while Little Pond night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Stay the night at Bayley's Camping Resort, and you'll hit upon a delightful lake called Great Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Higgins Creek is a stream that you may encounter while you're here, and Adams Head is very near and is a magnificent location to stop by. Here at Little Pond you'll most                  likely meet some people from Portland-South Portland, and Spurwink Hill is wonderful and can be made out from here. You can run the rapids of Royal River close to Little Pond, and close to Little Pond you locate a golf course called Pleasant Hill Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent location for whitewater paddling right next door to Little Pond is Chandler Brook, and Lost Valley is a good local ski area. If you're here, you might as well check out The Brothers, and if you need a location to stay Eastland Park Hotel is a brilliant choice. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Little Pond. If you're looking for a beach close to Little Pond, we recommend Crescent Beach. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Little Pond.
