There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Little Pond. Beaches are perfect; and Crescent Beach close to Little Pond is no exception; dry warm beds await you at Eastland Park Hotel. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Little Pond, and the night is a bit colder of course, commonly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Little Pond. You can run the       rapids of Royal River near Little Pond; since you're here you should go to Adams Head. This lake is so wonderful. At Little Pond you always meet someone from Portland-South Portland, and one of the best things about this place is its proximity to Scarborough Beach. A tremendous spot to visit near Little Pond is The Brothers, and camping is available at A Vacationland Campground. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling near                  Little Pond is Chandler Brook, and if you came for an overnight stay Bayley's Camping Resort is a good place to camp. The high level of rain makes Little Pond a reasonably wet location; November is the wettest month with most rain; August on the other hand is the driest. Some of the water nearby flows, like Higgins Creek; after a long day outdoors The Higgins Beach Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. Pleasant Hill Golf Course is a glorious golf course close by; at Little Pond you can make out Spurwink Hill.
