Little Ossipee Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Little Ossipee River; Sanford Inn is a brilliant site to get some rest. Little Ossipee Pond is a wet site that gets a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is November, and September is the month with the least moisture. Summer at Little Ossipee Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime

| | lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Little Ossipee Pond.
Chadbournes Ridge is clearly visible from Little Ossipee Pond; Bartlett Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. And that's not all you can do here at Little Ossipee Pond. Camping at Maine Mountain is always a wonderful experience; there's whitewater on Saco River for all you adrenaline kick people.
