Dry warm beds await you at Eastland Park Hotel. There's so much to do here at Little Ossipee Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Bayley's Camping Resort is a glorious site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Richards Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to, and Lost Valley is a very popular ski area around here. more than a day to explore everything Little Ossipee Pond has to offer, you can camp at A Vacationland Campground. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Little Ossipee Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into
the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Little Ossipee Pond temperatures drop to the 10's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Little Ossipee Pond a wet place;
the wettest month of the year is typically November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is August. Little Ossipee Pond Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and there are plenty of people from Portland-South Portland here.

Very close to the Eastern Trail for a scenic hike of nature and wildlife. A tranquil setting but yet close to shopping, fine dining and the beach. Not many activities on site, but no noise either. Also, a strong WiFi signal was nice for a change and cable TV with 70 channels at our level site. Highly recommend if staying for a week, month or the season. Plenty to do in the area.... |

I'd recommend LOTS of bug sprays as the mosquitoes tend to swarm and are very plentiful this year.
