Whitewater paddling is perfect on Piscataquis River - East Branch,       and do go to Mud Pond, it's a wonderful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Kennebec River - East Outlet has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and you'll stumble on a picturesque lake called Big Notch Pond. Little Notch Pond gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. If the weather is great here at Little Notch                  Pond, you can go for a hike along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail, and Bingham Motor Inn is a splendid place to get some rest.
