Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Arnold Pond Trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kennebago River. Through the days of summer at Little Northwest Pond temperatures are typically in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Little       Northwest Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Morrell Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and a tremendous close by hotel is Mountain View Cottages. Take a hike on the Arnold Trail, and camping at Cupsuptic Campground is always a great experience. Little Northwest Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is February. Dead River - North Branch                  is a great whitewater spot near Little Northwest Pond, and if you need a site to stay Kern's Inn & Chalet is a great choice.
