A brilliant place to camp here at Little Northwest Pond is Cathedral Pines Camping Area; Saddleback has delightful slopes and a friendly staff. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby South Boundary Pond; why not camp at Cupsuptic Campground since you're here at Little Northwest Pond. All the outdoors entertaining stuff next to Little Northwest Pond will keep you coming back time and again. The Arnold Trail is a nice hiking trail close to Little Northwest Pond; there are some delightful whitewater spots on Dead River - North Branch.

 | 12 miles away 2 PHOTOS I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises.... |
