Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby South Boundary Pond; why not camp at Cupsuptic Campground since you're here at Little Northwest Pond. The high level of rainfall makes Little Northwest Pond a reasonably wet location; throughout August this area sees the most rain; February       meanwhile is the driest month. Near Little Northwest Pond you locate the Morrell Trail which is a nice hiking trail; there's whitewater on Kennebago River for all you adrenaline junkies. For the period of the summertime months here at Little Northwest Pond, high temperatures typically reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's.
