If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Little Moxie Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Piscataquis River - East Branch offers some great whitewater; after a long day outdoors Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. You'll hit upon a striking lake called       Bald Mountain Pond near Little Moxie Pond. Little Moxie Pond is a good spot of common precipitation; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. High temperatures at Little Moxie Pond through the warm days of summer are in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to                  Little Moxie Pond. Glide down the rapids of Piscataquis River - West Branch in a kayak, and there's good hiking along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail. A pretty lake like Mud Pond close to Little Moxie Pond is a great place to take a look at. There's so much to do here at Little Moxie Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Balsam woods Campground is a great location for that. This lake is so wonderful.
