Summertime at Little Moose Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Little Moose Pond. Moose Brook is a stream that you may encounter while here, and nearby you find the Eagle Lake Tote Road which is a tremendous hiking       trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Munsungan Stream; you can go for a hike on the Old Pogy Road. After a long day outdoors Katahdin Inn is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two, and you can stay the night at Matagamon Wilderness Campground. Little Moose Pond gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. Not enough hours in                  a day to enjoy this place. Going for a hike on the Freezeout Road is always a pleasant adventure. This lake is so wonderful.
