Munsungan Stream is a brilliant whitewater spot next to Little Marsh Pond, and camping is available at Matagamon Wilderness Campground. The warmest time of the year brings highs in       the 70's to Little Marsh Pond. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Little Marsh Pond. After a long day outdoors Katahdin Inn is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Little Marsh Pond. While you're here at Little Marsh Pond you can take a hike along the Millinocket Lake Tote Road, and why not                  camp at South Branch Pond Campground while you're here at Little Marsh Pond. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Millinocket Stream, and an interesting thing to pop by close to Little Marsh Pond is Millinocket Lake Dam. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Mooseleuk Tote Road; while you're here, you could pop by Little Bog Brook.
