     There are some perfect whitewater spots on Penobscot River - North Branch, and at Little Lane Pond you can see Truesdale Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a tremendous site to get some rest, and Little Lane Pond is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, Old Mill Camping Area is a splendid spot to camp nearby. Summertime highs at Little Lane Pond usually tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down  
   into the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Little Lane Pond all through the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the-10's. Having a nice time at Little Lane Pond is trouble-free. Lakes are such serene places, why not explore Lower First Saint John Pond next to Little Lane Pond.
A striking lake like Second Saint John Pond in close proximity to Little Lane Pond is a great place to stop by, and you can stay the
 
               night at Seboomook wilderness Campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Penobscot River - South Branch, and do take a hike on the Alder Brook Trail. An average amount of rainfall falls at Little Lane Pond; July is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.

This is the web site for Seboomoook Wilderness Campground. Yes they are still there and it's still beautiful! Their phone number is at their web site. They have a new email address but I don't know what it is....
My family and I have been to seboomook campground for the last 7 years, Its beautiful, friendly and a great place to spend some time. When planning this years trip I have discovered that I cannot get to the web page,(when going to that page a porno site comes up) and the number I had made reservations on for the last 7 years is not in service. I dont understand this?...Is it still there???...
