Get your pulse rate up on the tremendous whitewater of Dead River - North Branch; the Morrell Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Saddleback is a nice local ski area. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining things, what       a great world it would be. If the weather is delightful here at Little Kennebago Lake, you can go for a hike along the Milrose Trail; Little Kennebago Lake is a fine location to visit for more than one day, North Camps is a fine location to camp nearby. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs usually are in the 70's at Little Kennebago Lake while night lows are frequently in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's,                  and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Little Kennebago Lake temperatures plunge to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Little Kennebago Lake you obtain some delightful water scenery at Lower Station Dam, unsurprisingly you could also stop at Kennebago Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Little Kennebago Lake commonly gets a great deal of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Black Mountain, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Kennebago River.
