This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Old Telos Tote Road is splendid fun, and you can run the rapids of Ellis Brook. From a rain point of view Little Indian Pond is a reasonably typical place; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. Take a hike on the Carry Trail. There's whitewater on Smith Brook for all you thrill seekers, and Little Indian Pond is right by the Telephone       Trail. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Big Squaw is right next door to Little Indian Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Frost Pond Campground is a fine location to camp. Throughout the months of summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at Little Indian Pond; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
