A visit to Little Hathorn Pond is always a good idea. Katahdin Inn is a delightful spot to get some rest, and if you come at the right time of year, Wassataquoik Stream offers some great whitewater. Little Hathorn Pond is a good place of normal precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Hathorn Pond. Going for a hike on the Spring Brook Trail is always a good adventure, and some of the water nearby flows, like Big Spring Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Roaring Brook Campground since you're here
