Summer at Little Fowler Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's; nighttime lows at Little Fowler Pond through the winter regularly fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Shiretown Motor Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest, and hiking along the Pierce Tote Road       is tremendous fun. A lake close by is Scott Pond; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Gulch Brook. Little Fowler Pond in fact is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. A delightful site to camp here at Little Fowler Pond is Bear Mountain Lodge; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Mattawamkeag River - East Branch. Take a hike on the Kennedy Tote Road, and there are some nice whitewater spots on                  St. Croix Stream. Camping is available at Wilde Pines Campground, and after a long day outdoors Scottish Inns Houlton is a great site to spend a night or two. Little Fowler Pond gets a normal amount of rain; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Bigrock is a perfect place to do that; going for a hike along the Sweets Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
