This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Lost Valley is just what you need, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Portland/Westbrook Super 8 Motel. Drift down the rapids of Chandler Brook in a kayak, and if you get bored of Little Duck Pond you could also take a look at close by Forest Lake. All through the months of summer highs here at Little Duck Pond reach       the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and night lows at Little Duck Pond throughout the wintertime mostly sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Spring Meadows Golf Course is always a bliss, and you'll in all probability meet some folks from Portland-South Portland here. Camping is available at Adventure Camp; if you need a spot to stay The Elms Bed and Breakfast                  is a great choice. Little Duck Pond usually gets lots of rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain; September is the month with the least moisture. Just can't get enough of Little Duck Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Royal River, and Highland Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore.
