A great close by hotel is Americas Best Value Heritage Motor Inn; a tremendous vista of gorgeous Bear Mountain is available. Little Bowlin Pond is a good location of common rain; July is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Lakes are good; Lunksoos Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Little       Bowlin Pond, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Jerry Pond Tote Road. This lake is so wonderful. Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a great location to get some rest, and camping at Matagamon Wilderness Campground is always a magnificent experience. Having a great time at Little Bowlin Pond is trouble-free. There's whitewater on Seboeis River for all you adrenaline people; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Spring Brook Trail. This                  lake is so wonderful. The Telos Tote Road is a fine hiking trail in close proximity to Little Bowlin Pond. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Gardner Pond; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Penobscot River - East Branch. At Little Bowlin Pond all through the long summer days highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.
