Little Beaver Pond in fact is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. Little Beaver Pond gets a typical amount of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. Whitewater paddling is not for       everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Millinocket Stream; Little Beaver Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, South Branch Pond Campground is a pleasant local campground. All through the long summer days here at Little Beaver Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's while Little Beaver Pond nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime                  are in the-10's. Hiking along the Freezeout Road is perfect fun, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Munsungan Stream. This lake is so wonderful. Little Beaver Pond is right by the Eagle Lake Tote Road.
