     Stay the night at King & Bartlett Lake Camp, and get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Cupsuptic River. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Sugarloaf USA around here. This lake is so wonderful. Little Barnard Pond is a brilliant site to visit for more than one day, Black Arrow Lodge is a brilliant site to camp nearby, and here at Little Barnard Pond you can see Barnard Mountains. While you're here at Little Barnard Pond you can take a  
   hike along the Morrell Trail, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Saddleback.
So much amusing stuff to do at Little Barnard Pond, so little time. If the weather is wonderful here at Little Barnard Pond, you can go for a hike along the Bigelow Range Trail; Little Barnard Pond is not the only place nearby, Barnard Pond is a nearby lake. Some of the water nearby flows, like Alder Stream, and on a great day you can take a hike along
 
               the Arnold Pond Trail. A normal amount of rain falls here at Little Barnard Pond; most of the rain falls during July while February is commonly the driest month.
The warmest time of the year at Little Barnard Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises....
