Many people like to go to Lily Pond. Lily Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. Kezar Lake Camping Area is a great local campground; wonderful scenery and delightful skiing is what you acquire at Shawnee Peak. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Oxford House Inn is a good place to spend a night or two; naturally, this is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes, Kezar Pond is a lake around here. This lake is so wonderful.

| | If you come at the right time of year, Crooked River offers some perfect whitewater; Lakeside Pines Campground is a great campground nearby. Good hiking is available along the Albany Mountain Trail, and you're possibly hooked on lakes, Little Pond is one of those close by. Hill is easily distinguished from Lily Pond. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sunday River while you're here, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Crooked River.
Lily Pond typically gets a great deal of rain; most of the rain falls through November, and September is the month with the least moisture.

West Pond
 | 18 miles away West Pond is a truly special place, in the foothils of Mr. Washington. As you approach the pond from the South on Rt. 160, you are met by a breathtaking view of Mt. Washington which is 40 miles away. The water in west pond is crystal clear, and you can often hear the loons. There is a large area around the pond that is protected in tree growth, so the pond will never face additional stress of building. There is also no public access for boats, and that keeps it quiet and free of the kind of noise and congestion you see in popular lakes elsewhere.... |
