Summertime highs at Lily Pond mostly tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lily Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. After a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn & Suites Augusta is a perfect site to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Cobbosseecontee       Stream. If you're here at Lily Pond and you like golf, you can have a look at Western View Golf Club. Foggy Bottom Marine is a magnificent campground nearby, and during your visit here you'll meet some people from Augusta-Waterville for sure. The yearly precipitation here at Lily Pond is about average; most of the rain falls throughout November; the driest of the months is February. And that's not all you can do here at Lily Pond. Do pop by Kennebec River Reservoir                  right next door to Lily Pond, it's a scenic lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Green Valley Campground is a fine place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Eaton Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff, and paddling on Sheepscot River - West Branch is so much fun.
