This lake is so wonderful. Why not explore Crams Point also since you're here, and a great nearby hotel is Winthrop Motel. This spot is unbeatable, just check out all the entertaining things to do close to Lily Pond. There are plenty of folks from Augusta-Waterville here at Lily Pond, and Lily Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day       at, Augusta West Lakeside Resort is a delightful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a glorious hiking trail in the neighborhood of Lily Pond; camping at The Birches Campground is always a great experience. Lily Pond commonly gets a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. Bog Brook flows through                  this region, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cobbosseecontee Stream. At Collins Dam right next door to Lily Pond there are some interesting things to see, and Lily Pond is not the only spot close by, Cobbosseecontee Lake is a close by lake. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Lily Pond. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's.
