After a long day outdoors Bar Harbor Inn is a wonderful location to spend a night or two, and in the neighborhood of Lily Pond you discover a golf course called Grindstone Neck Golf Course. Jones Pond Dam has perfect water scenery and it's close to Lily Pond; a trip to Acadia National Park is worthwhile. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Lily Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Flanders Bay is a great local campground; on a glorious day you can take a hike along the The Anvil Trail. Through the
warm months at Lily Pond highs are regularly in the 70's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 30's while Lily Pond night low temperatures through the winter
are in the 10's. Camping at Mountainview Campground is always a good experience, and the vista of Ash Mountain is picturesque.
While staying at Lily Pond you could always look at Black Ledge; you can have a great hiking adventure
along the Schoodic Head Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Acadia Hotel, and there are other spots here than Lily Pond, for example Morancy Pond.
